PhotoTAN is a convenient, secure and comfortable alternative (to e.g. mobile TAN) for all your Banking transactions.
The reader is needed to create a unique TAN-Code. This individual TAN-Code will be created for each transaction which requires an authentication. During the process a colored pixel-photo is generated in your banking portal. This photo has to be scanned with the reader which finally generates and displays a unique TAN.
